Arista Aviation, an industry leader in the repair, overhaul and retrofit of the UH-60A Blackhawk helicopter, has joined forces with Delta Enterprises to further advance technology in the UH-60A cockpit. Through its development in partnership with the Tennessee avionics company, Arista will now offer, under an agreement with XP Services, the Canyon RT-7000 radio as an option to compliment the capability of the GDR-2556U in the Genesys Cockpit System for the UH-60A.
The Canyon RT-7000 supports the full spectrum of VHF and UHF, AM/FM communications from 29.7 – 960 MHz, with up to three (3) embedded and individual functional slots, providing the equivalent capability of three (3) individual radios in one compact form-factor. In addition, the RT-7000 supports connected push-to-talk capability for the on- the-fly connection of up to two external devices, such as hand-held radios, mobile phones, or SATCOM handsets.
